Can anyone show me or tell me the location of the points in the clock on a 60, original clock. I have it out and would like to attempt to clean them before sending in for service. The coils look good as they do not have any discoloration so I am hoping it is just the points. The clock looks as though it has been refurbed in the past and is in pretty good overall condition. The connections are pretty clean as well. Thanks,

Reason: clarification chg point to points in title
The points are way down inside, and very hard to see or get to. Usually they are burnt, as they are very small. The arm is about 2" long. The best way to see them is to wind the clock manually, and look into towards the center of the clock. You should be able to see the arm moving. It will run about 10-15 minutes on a wind. If you don't know how to wind the clock, then I would recommend that you send it in for a rebuild, as it is very easy to screw one up.
Pulled my clock and it looked really clean. Filed the "points" as best I could. Couldn't find any jewelers oil and was ready to try the clock so used gun oil and toothpick. Returned to console 3 1/2 hours ago running smooth and keeping time. Also installed a 2 amp fuse.
