My 64 327 300HP vette has a valve inserted midway in the pvc hose that goes from the oil filler to the rear of the carb (afb) and I cannot find any literature that shows this setup. Has this been the result of an after-market modification?

The basic idea is pretty much factory.

depends whether it is an early or late car. i THINK it could possibly have had a restriction orifice in the elbow at the carb and no PCV valve, or i THINK someone has put a PCV valve inline (hose slips on both ends), if so, i THINK the original screwed into the fitting at the back of the carb and a hose slipped on the other end.

the way it is is functional
