Looks like a left handed sky hook. Where did it come from?

looks like part of the linkage from a drum brake system.... mine on my '59 look similar tho not identical...

It came from my tool box, I just re-discovered it.... It's the same color as my car so I figured it was a part off it. I don't know why a brake linkage would be painted that color... I thought it might be a part of the door lock assembly.. '64.. Who knows....

Bingo. Its the upper right long spring on the shoe anchor pin in this picture of my just redone '63 brakes. Its just plain 'ole GM orange...

Yup, beat me to it. Rear spring on a drum brake set up that actuates the self adjuster. That particular one looks like the drivers side. Will fit front or rear Pilot Dan

That looks really close, the top spring attachment point seems to have a different bend than the one I have.. Close enough though, I'd say we have a winner!! I may have bent it trying to remove it years ago, been so long I can't remember.... Just call me senile.. lol
