This is my first post and to make it worse I am from the UK.
A very basic question for the first one. I have been looking to buy a midyear Vette and a 65 Coupe has been offered to me. On the dash at the top there are 2 rectangular lights the right one is the brake light, what is the left one for? Ign?
This did not light up when the key was turned to the ign position so I was wondering if it should light when the key is turned.
If anybody can help that would be great.
Phil
The other light is for the headlamps. Specifically the light is on when the headlights are on, but the head light buckets are not fully open yet.
You pull the headlight **** to turn on the headlights, but that does not open the headlight buckets. A separate switch under the instrument cluster has to be operated to open/close the buckets. This is why the headlamp warning light on the dash - so you know your headlights may be "on" but they aren't ready for use yet.
