I have a 1965 corvette 327- 365 the front engine markings have FT222HCH what does it stand for engine is 3858174 smithproperties@yahoo.com it was a replacement engine the car was born 12/22 and it has a holley crank broke on original just need the HC figured out 3858174 is for a 66 corvette

Not a Corvette engine. That seems to be out of a 66 Impala, originally a 275 HP version..

Probably FI222HCH. They used I for 1's, so built Dec 22, but it's a 66 passenger car engine, as stated 275 hp w/powerglide originally.
