Did the up north snow & ice thing for decades - you couldn't blast me out of Florida with dynamite at this point.. I'm going to a car show this evening and my big decision is whether or not to pack a light windbreaker along for the possible "chill"...

Me and some of my Corvette friends come to FL. in January every tear to the MCRS Winter Regionals and I look forward to it and to getting out of the snow and cold but. I don't think I could live in FL. all year round. I do like and I think I would miss the cold weather and sometimes snow at Christmas time. Other then that I don't care if I ever see cold or snow again all winter. That is one of the reasons we come to FL. in Jan. it to also get away from the cold and snow but mostly to do the NCRS Corvette Event and see Corvette friends that we have made over the years. Yes we are coming back again this coming year.

I've lived in FL since I graduated from high school in 1964 except for 2005 to 2011 when we moved to Minnesota to take care of my wife's parents. I will NEVER go back.
The summer heat is brutal down here but not nearly as brutal as month after endless month of zero temperatures. The joke I heard when we first moved up there was, "We pray for summer to fall on a weekend so we can enjoy it before winter sets in again."
