for those that have trailer and use for a c2/c3 vette and maybe a c5/6 vette....how far apart did you space your tie downs and how far in front and back of car did put them? thanks to all.

Front to back position will be determined primarily by the construction of your trailer. The tie downs need to be welded to the cross members of the frame.
I just went out and measured my trailer. The tie downs are spaced 36" apart.
I was surprised they were that close.
However during actual use, the tie downs have always seemed to be located in an appropriate position.
I would not change a thing.
Longer trailers may have two tie downs near the front and two near the rear end for the larger cars. I have mine set that way. When I place the anchor points on the trailer, the front set pulls to the front and the rear set pulls to the rear. I also use the ratchet binders only, would never never trust the clamp type.
