The headers shown in #8 are being used with angle plug heads, and the plugs are actually easier to get to now than they were before with straigh plug, iron heads.. Use standard painted Hedman sidepipe headers, change the flanges and then have them ceramic coated.

The problem the shop is having is a clearance issue at the steering box. We believe the problem is caused by the tall deck/port heads raising the whole header up. Changing the flanges looks like it will match the D exhaust ports but will not cure the clearance problem. Am I missing something?

I used Patriot tight tuck headers on my zz383 with D port-Angled plug heads for this very reason. They will not interfere with your steering box.

Just thought I would update the thread.
Still looking. Considering the Patriot like Dennis is using or maybe Sanderson. Gotta say the ones on Dennis's car is a very clean installation.
