Brakes Squeaking
I just got in from a drive in the vette and have a question concerning my brakes.
This spring I installed all new calipers and hoses. I have currently put about 220 miles on the new brakes. I am getting squeaking from both front calipers. It is intermittent, but is definitely noticable at low speeds. As the speeds go up, so does wind and engine noise.
I pulled the wheels to look for something obvious, debris or brake pads seated properly. Everything looked ok.
What could cause the squeaking? Could excessive rotor run-out cause the squeaking? I do not have a dial indicator to check. What else could it be.?
The rotors appear to be original, they are rivited to the spindle.
Thanks
Ryan
I guess I need to buy a dial indicator.
Thanks
Ryan
