this weekend todo list
Looks like I will have a free weekend to focus on some small things before I install the transmission and engine.
Repaint the side engine mounts, radiator shroud and fan blades.
Remove gear oil from transmission.
Clean all of the hoses and see about using the correct style clamps.
Clean chassis and underneath body.
Tighten up chassis and exhaust bolts.
Reinstall rubber on splash shield.
Reinstall rubber seals on firewall.
Fix package tray loose screw on the dash.
Check driver side brake line fittings for leaks.
Add weather grommets for the bumpers.
Clean grill, bolts and spacers.
Paint back of front license plate frame.
Check wiring on voltage regulator and check wiring for car once more.
Install the distributor correctly and coil plus route wires.
Install the ignition shielding once more.
Polish top ignition shielding.
Install the wiper switch once more.
Install the rubber pieces for the radiator.

I like working off a list. You just check each item off as you go. I just got my 66 coupe back from Santini's bodyshop in Westminster Ca. today and I'll start installing the brightwork this weekend. I'm also installing a delfi 600 steering gear. I'll explain what happened and post some before and after pics in another thread next week.
