We are finally getting some sun today in VB with a high of 60. The 10 day forecast looks real good. Maybe we are coming out of this terrible winter. I am off today in the Z06 for Zip Products in Richmond. I need some stuff for the 66. I hope you guys up north can get your cars out soon. I keep thinking about the picture JohnZ posted of his house.
I wish I lived that close to Zip parts - I also hope the weather clears up in your area. My mechanic brother lives up there and is inspecting a '65 Mustang Shelby kinda, sorta, clone fastback for me this morning in Virginia Beach and it'd be nice if he could drive it.

Frank - Adding a car or replacing a car?
If you need more garage space, you might consider doing what I did last year. Instead of going off the side of my 2-car garage to make a 3-car garage, I came forward about 12 feet so that I still have a 2-car garage door but room for 4 cars behind it. Same cost as going off the side to add room for just 1 more car.
Looks like you already have a 3-car garage. You could come forward (assuming you're within setback requirements) and have a 6-car garage. Believe me, your wife will love it .

Goodness, you could eat off of that car's underbody. On second thought, the food would get it dirty.
In other news, we will be grilling this evening on the patio in Chesapeake, VA.
I'm adding (temporarily) to the fleet if things work out. One of those "can't pass it up" kinda deals. Gal & husband bought this car in 2009...he dies in 2011; she is getting ready to retire to Florida (ironically) in 60 days and doesn't want to transport it down.
Got word of the car through a relative and friend of the owner. I made a crazy offer and she said "come and get it". I might drive it around this summer and flip it for a few thou or else put in a 4-post lift and hang on to it...we'll see. Not adding to the footprint of existing garage; it is already too dominant a feature at front of house. Not sure my HOA rules would allow it anyway.
Glad to hear that someone is enjoying pleasant weather. We had an ice/snow/freezing rain storm Thursday. Trees are down everywhere. Power is off and not expected to be back until Monday. At least the temperature is expected to be in the low 60's for the next few days.
The view from my dining room window:
We (Beachcombers Corvette Club) had a very nice cruise up to Zip, had lunch and came back to VB the long way using some back roads. The 66 gets it's turn tomorrow.
