Question for John Z
Or anyone who may know the answer. What does the number painted on the bottom of the Posi case during assembly signify? I'm referring to the paint markings (war paint) that were present or added to the chassis as a C-1 came down the assembly line.

I have seen a lot of junkyard/salvage yard applied markings on drive train parts. I have also seen rebuilders markings.
