I'm ready to install my electric fan and want to have the option to turn it on with an under dash switch. This may be a dumb question, but in my inventory I have a 125v, 3amp switch. Will that suffice?

If it were me, I would use car type relay and a simple low voltage/current switch. I prefer not to route high current stuff over switches (as does the C2, I know... ).

Electric fans can draw 20-25 amps, if I am correct that is higher than any other circuit in a C2.

Did a lot of that in my cobra for fans, heater, lights, gearbox overdrive, etc. They are very cheap anyway.

Use a relay, and you can use that switch. As Alexander said, most fans will pull 20 or so amps, so if you route it directly through that switch you'll smell plastic burning, right before the fire!!

Yes, sorry, I failed to mention that, I am using the relay supplied with my Spal fan. In using this, how many amps, then, go thru the switch?

Only enough to pull the relay. Less than 1/2 amp. Your switch would work fine.
