Default C1 numbers decoding ...

thanks to everone who posts.. after a search on the site and multiple layers of paint removal, I have figured out my block matches my serial number..do certain engine options have certain rear diff options? my engine is F0705RE and the rear is 3725899. Not obsessed with everything matching but it would be good to know what is there...

ps, this car has been in the family since 1974 and was a complete basket case until now...

thanks

You need to locate the rear differential code to determine what you have, such as CC, CD, CE.
