Hello, my car is a 66 roadster. I'm not sure how to orient these plugs for the washer pump and the wiper motor.
1. The wiper motor plug has 3 horizontal wires. Yellow, brown and light blue. It looks like the plug will fit either way. Should the yellow outside wire be toward the engine or toward the firewall? Looking at the AIM it looks like the yellow should be toward the firewall. I just need to be sure.
2. The wiper pump plug has 2 vertical wires, dark blue and brown. Which color goes up and which down.
UPC 12
I'm installing new harnesses. Lots of fun. Also wiring in Detroit Elec motors and vintage air.
Thanks in advance.

On the 3-way connector, the yellow wire is closest to the firewall. On the washer plug, it doesn't matter.
I also put in Borgeson power steering and 67 power brakes.
APV,
Did your 67 have the older or newer steering column? How much did you shorten the column and was it an issue to do? Did you remove to shorten or while it was in car? I bought both setups as well (borgeson & Detroit headlight kit), but have not installed yet. Any tips would be appreciated. Send remarks to pgsmith@stny.rr.com
