Default C2 Soft Top Frame

Hi All,

I am putting a header bow on the soft top frame and have two thin plates with holes and two thick plates with threads which are to attach the two parts together. I can see where the thick plates go but does anybody know where the thin plates are to be fitted. They are both the same shape, sort of oval but not quite.

Thanks Phil

The "thin plate" (plate wedge #3831693) goes between the header and the "thick plates with threads" (nut #3828336). 1965 AIM pg 90

The header has, IIRC, slotted holes so you can adjust the fit and the plate wedge helps keep the header in position once it's tightened.
