The thread about saddle tan and white interior got me thinking... What are the odd and rare FACTORY color combos?
Mine is ermine white with green interior. I know of only 4 cars including mine with this combo. Post up your odd ones!
Many years ago I saw a 67 BB coupe that was black with bright blue interior and a blue stinger. It looked great..I don't know if it was original or not because I didn't see the trim tag, but man did that car look good.

I saw one and did check his trim tag and it was correct.
My 2000 C-5 is Pewter with bright red interior. Dealer initially thought it couldn't be ordered that way. Brochure and Chev said yes it could. It is one of only about 70 or 80 that were sold in this combination. It does look good and even the dealer when the car was delivered liked it.
believe there was in 67. yellow/ w tan inside 67 is COPO as well.
You don't read very well do you? A color over ride from suggested combos did not require a COPO. the parts to do that was already at the plant. So you just needed a sign off from the dealer 99.9% of COPO cars were taxis, police cars and fleet orders
There have been a number of cars around here, with "interesting" color combos.
*I knew of a Daytona Blue 64 coupe, with a red interior.
*A friend of mine in Albany, has a 65 Fuelie roadster, that's black with a bright blue interior.
*A few weeks ago, I helped a buddy drop the body back on a 65 396, silver/silver roadster.
*A member of the NCRS in Jersey, has a 70 LT-1 in Laguna Gray with a light saddle interior and a tan soft top.
*Years ago, the owner of a local exterminating company, had a new 79 L-82 4 speed coupe, in Bright Yellow with a bright red interior!
*I have also seen an 81 in Charcoal Gray, with a Camel tan interior, and another Charcoal 81 with a red interior.
The most interesting factory combo though, may just be 1955's Harvest Gold, with green top and interior trim.
I will never understand the blue with red interior idea.
I picked a silver over silver '69 coupe as a Celebrity Choice in Carlisle once. Gorgeous car.
Local guy has a black '61 with bright blue interior, says its original.
My first Corvette was a black '65 and I had my buddy, a custom painter, do some bright blue pinstriping. (Hey it was 1977 ). I loved the combo. Years later when I see that black L88 with the exact color blue stinger selling for a zillion $ I think I was on to something.

Nothing quite like sarcasm to drive home a point, eh? Sheesh.
