Default Metal plating my experience

Guys / Gals ,I just wanted to share with you my experience with a metal plating company. I had cadmium plating, zinc plating, and black phosphate plating done along with having anodizing removed from two sets of side pipe covers one set of side pipe cover moldings one set of rocker panel moldings and the rear license plate frame. I will work on the aluminum parts later and have them anodized. The company replated my parts which consisted of nuts bolts and brackets as well as springs and other miscellaneous hardware the company's name is Quality Metal Finishing their located at 80 George St., Paterson, NJ 07503.Phone# 973-345-0963. The owners name is Mark Lenardis and his son Mark Jr. The website is
Qualitymetalfinishing.net, the website is very informative it will give you rust protection information also color of the plating that you may want to have done and there is other information available also. Mark and his son Mark Jr. are very genuine fantastic people and are willing to work close with you. Mark Sr. understands the Corvette hobby he is an owner of a 59 Corvette which has been featured in a national magazine. How the pricing worked for me was I was given a minimum and then from that minimum amount we came to a final figure which was just around $200 for 50 pounds or so of zinc cadmium and phosphate as well as the anodizing work. A lot of the parts needed to be hung on racks as well as having the small parts barrel plated. I was told the work would take one to two weeks to be done .To my surprise it was done within the first week of dropping the parts off. I prepared the parts by glass beading all the parts so that Helped move the job along. Some of you may think that painting the parts ,your nuts and bolts and brackets is just as good ,it's not plating is probably less expensive or equal to what you would spend painting not to mention the time that you'll spend painting the parts and In the end you will be much happier with plating. None of the parts were lost everything was accounted for. Quality Metal Finishing will except your parts by mail and give you a price quote .
The plating work was very nice and I was well satisfied with the results not to mention how picky I am.
If you have any questions ask me or better yet give Mark a phone call and I'm sure he could give you all the information you need. I cannot say enough as to how I was treated not knowing these people from a hole in the wall they were extremely welcoming and the work was fantastic. My only regret is they do not do Chrome,oh well.
I will post before and after pictures tonite!

Nice to see you had a good experience.

All too often we only read about bad experiences, it's nice to see that you took the time to share your good experience.

Sounds like great place to do business with.....and it's located in the United States!!!
