215 is only 3 degrees above boiling for plain water with no pressure (and that's if the gauge is accurate) and it only reaches it at 70 mph. I hope that if you spend enough to get the temp down to say 200 and feel better about it, you'll pass on the information to the rest of us what you did and what it cost to do that.

230 degrees is in the very safe zone.
