Hey Matt, maybe I'll be the first to have a 'go' at it but while I don't typically 'name' my cars, it was easy to figure out an appropriate name for my 65 Coupe. I call it 'Frank', as in short for 'Frankenstein'. It was an okay, driving midyear when I bought it in '85. Had flares and some (ahem) custom upholstery and when I decided to strip the paint I found pounds and pounds of bondo holding things together.
The short version is this, it now has an aftermarket front clip, two aftermarket rear quarters, a replacement deck section from Pipers Corvettes, and it hasn't got a single piece of original glass in it. While it was originally blue on blue, I prefer Black on Black and added a number of factory options. Oddly, the original engine is still in it. Trans and diff, not so much ;-). So, 'Frank' it is and I have a ton of work into this Coupe and I smile ear to ear every time I drive it.

So, at last count, there are two honest Corvette owners out there. I'm off for more beer, but please join in if you view this. I will reveal my car's nickname at some point. Guesses are encouraged.
1963 Z06 - "Lady" - because when I had her stripped down to the bare minimum and was looking at her frame after being cleaned up and powder coated and was rolling chassis - she looked BEUATIFUL like a Lady!
