Is there anybody who can help me with my 1954 Corvette?
It starts easy when cold and after coed down. The problem is when it is hot and I want to start it in 2-15 minutes. The starter are struggeling to get the engine spinning. I have the original setup 235 with 3 Carter carbs. Are the carbs the problem and has to be restored? I have tried another starter and that is not the problem.
I had a problem w/ hot starts and I relocated my ground cable to the bell housing bolt closest to the starter...if your ground cable is attached to the frame some think it (current has to go through the rubber mtr mount).....just one opinion helped mine start after hot and was having to wait till cool down cycle...where is your ground cable connected NOW ?

I changed the distributor system some years ago and then checked the ignition. Maybe I have to do it again. This problem was the same before I changed the parts. Thanks for the reply
