I found a 1964 corvette coupe, 327/300, power-glide,
power steering,power windows,
power drum brakes,factory AC,
plus a few other items.
Car is un-restored, has paint nicks,
AC does not work,
pass headlight does not work,
trans leaks,radio does not work.
Car has new radiator, new exhaust.
Car maybe is a number matching?
Thanks....

I can buy it for $42,000 is it worth it ?
Thanks....
Noe not really, you can buy mine that is a complete rolling chassis, runs perfectly and fully complete.
sounds like a mid to high 20's car to me if the birdcage and frame are nice and the car is decently driving and numbers matching. It has a lot of nice options, but the AC will be expensive to restore. The powerglide will limit its market. I would not be in the market for one, though others are they are fewer in number. Let us know what you do! Photos?
It's not really about "is it worth $n", but more about "what else can I buy with $n".
And don't forget the "would I be happy paying $$ for this car". At the end of the day you have to be happy with the deal. This is a hobby and as hobby's go you don't always get out what you put into them speaking from a $$ standpoint. What you do get is the fun factor that come along wiht owning a piece of automotive history.

If money is no object and you like the car - buy it.
That's all that matters. At 42K your not getting taken.
Well, it's hard to tell very much definitive from those pictures. It would help to see the engine stamp pad and casting numbers, the VIN and trim tags, and have an inspection done on the frame/under carriage and the under dash/birdcage areas.
Even if those all check out I'd agree the car is +/- $10k over priced. If there are problems in those areas this could be a $25/30k car depending on what repairs are needed.
