Leaf Spring Installation Problems
Looking for some help. I'm trying to replace the leaf springs on my 54 corvette (although I believe other C1's are similar). My problem is trying to get the rear shackles/bushings installed. I've tried clamping the rear of the leaf to the frame and jacking up the center of it in an attempt to get the eye of the leaf close enough to the eye on the frame to get the shackle in. Anyone know any tricks on this?
