Nope - I don't travel any more; COPD has made my world much smaller.
Sorry to hear that, You have so much to teach the next owners of these C-2's. I would like to personally thank you for sharing with us. Like others your word is God when it comes to cars. Best, Bill
I attended John's talk last year at the New England meet and it was, hands down, the most informative auto presentative that I have heard. I learned more about Corvettes that one day than in years of listening to "experts" ramble on about what they knew. Thanks again John.

Sorry to hear that. I know it's not fun as my wife had it for 4 years but would not quit smoking. You can get a travel concentrator that you can take on a plane. Her oxygen supplier had them & she got on when we traveler for no extra charge

Hello John,
Sorry to hear that. I'am sure that you can still give out all your valuable information to us all on this site. You have forgotten more than most of us will ever know.
Cheers,
Richard
It is not my intention to be rude or harsh to John, nor anyone else here, but why is it that with all the information which is available today about the harmful effects caused by smoking, people still continue to smoke???
I just am not able to comprehend why they do it.
My daughter (my oldest) and my youngest son are smokers and there is NOTHING I can say or do to get them to quit. I can see adverse health effects on both of them, not to mention that their person, clothes, house and car stink!

I went cold turkey in 1976, haven't smoked since. Smoking is very addictive, dangerous, and expensive. Smokers have this attitude, "why quite when nothing is going to happen to me". But, I have news for them, something will happen to them, it's just a matter of time.

Tom, I started smoking at about age 16, and always enjoyed it - it's a powerful addiction; I quit two years ago, at age 71, when the symptoms of COPD appeared, and should have quit a couple of decades earlier. If it weren't for the onset of COPD, I'd probably still be smoking. It's hard to explain to someone who has never smoked.
At any rate, my traveling, judging, and outdoor activities that involve physical exertion are no longer on my calendar.
I was lucky. I started smoking at 13, and quit when we were married at 26. We both quit at the same time (we did not want a home that smelled of smoke, especially with starting a family), and that is what allowed us to remain "smoke free".
