Are their any issues with registering a US car that does not have the OEM VIN, but an assigned VIN from Oklahoma? I have sold some of my classic cars (50 Merc, 51 Merc, 31 Ford Coupe) to Japan, Germany, and New Zealand. Everyone of those buyers were all about original VINs and titles.

They did this in the 80s with Harlys shipping them to the Netherlands

No soft top- strike 1, automatic - strike 2, 75k pricetag - strike 3.
Beautiful colors but gonna need to find someone with deep pockets who's looking for exactly what that 58 has.

I love seeing C2s that still have flares. Looks like a great driver.

Flares are cool, but needs six tail lights IMO to finish off the custom vibe. VIN plate looks scary though!!! What happened to the rivets?

Rivets have been worked on with a die grinder.....you can see the marks. My bet is that the number on the VIN plate does not match the number on the frame....if it has a number on the frame. Scary is the perfect term for that VIN plate, IMO!

1963s and 1964s VIN tags are spot welded and not riveted.

Like Rumble said, the VIN is spot welded. But the weld areas don’t look ‘clean’, there is still some scariness there.

I agree, 6 tail lights would look like they belonged on the car.

I'd say strike 1 in the paint color.

Interesting description on the car ...Delivered in AR...the original owner brought it to California in 1975 and it has been here ever since. Yet the car has OH plates, is posted on Cincinnati CL and the contact phone numbers are from a Cincinnati area code. Then we have claims about original options and work done but the original documentation has been lost. Some of it is written like the seller has had the car a long time yet with all the "we" statements, it appears to be a dealer.

Agree, someone has probably combined the seller's text and then the dealer added his text without proofreading? Sure is priced like and reads like a dealer is the seller now, not a private owner.
