If you are going to do the exhaust manifolds with POR15, sand blast them good first.

As with you, I've been in a long search for a unique mid-years corvette. I finally found mine in July (long story) which wound up being an almost duplicate of yours. Many great years ahead of pride and ownership, I look forward to sharing common learnings as I get to re-learn working on a "real" car without electronics. Cheers
