I have a little problem with my 65 convertible. The clock bezel came loose and fell off the clock. I haven't been able to determine what is suppose to hold it on. I have pushed the bezel up against the clock, but the tabs won't hold it in place. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? thanks
Originally those nubs that hold that bezel on were peened over but with time and disassemblies, they finally give. You can drill holes in the center of the nubs with about a 1/32 drill bit and then use #2 1/8" long sheet metal screws to hold it on.
