Quite the collection of burned and badly wrecked midyear Corvettes. I'm pretty surprised to see the bidding at almost $70,000. Tough to say what one would be able to make, if anything, off of buying these midyears at above that price, even if the split window was real and not a 64.

Interesting collection! I don't have a vision for a lot of the cars in respect to building/parting/paperwork so in my mind the bidding has gone out of the range I would have thought if you asked me blind where I thought the sale would wind up.
That's pretty fugly!! Hard to look at those cars in the conditon they're in. Hopefully, someone can rescue the bunch and build a couple of nice cars. I need to go throw up now.
If you owned these cars, would you sell them for $20,000??
I doubt it....gc2x4
I agree it's 100k worth of cars and parts....come on guys get real. I've seen many cars in worse shape than a few of these be restored to NCRS standards, and bring big money across the auction block.....original, number's matching, barn find restored! Sold Sold Sold!

10-15 years ago doing the boom when cars that should have remained parts cars that got restored comes to mind here. People have started with worse
Oh, there are some buildable cars in the collection and a lot of valuable parts, but I'm just not sure it's worth the amount of the current bid, even though the reserve is not met, yet. Just transporting those cars to another state or across state would another 10,000, if not more.
And what lurks underneath previous repairs that we aren't seeing is another question.
Are the birdcages from the fire cars good or was the metal jeopardized? All variables that could have a profound effect on the value of the collection.
Questions at the bottom ask about the "64 split window" thing, and yet theres someone else asking if the split window is for sale. Ugh.
Yeah, that's a strange one. '63 hood, '63 rear, '63 gauges, '65-66 side gills, but it's a '64. That car has had a couple different sex change operations!

Fake bid for sure. Most high line car salesman say ebay is the worst way to sell your car, all pikers. Buyer beware. There are many times I was out bought on something only to be contacted the next day saying the first buyer fell through. I would rather buy 70K worth of toilet paper than that collection and I love Corvettes.
