Muffler bracket question
Will the muffler mounting brackets from a 64-67 fit a 63 ? Don't really care about originality or ground straps. Do care about the price difference between the two.
Have a stock replacement 2 1/2 corvette central exhaust system going onto it.

Exhaust Hangers
As long as you're going to change the 2 rear hangers, you might as well change the hanger between the rear trans mount and the transmission tail housing. The original is a gaggle of parts, and the later one is 1 piece. The later 1 piece hanger should be available from whoever you are getting your rear hangers from.

Some original pieces I already have, the front mount being one of them, so I used that instead of buying a different one. Another 63 I did, I put the original brackets throughout and it seemed like they were way over-engineered. The later ones look a lot simpler and less expensive.
