Default Time to give back 66 VA *****

I'm looking for someone with a 66 with vintage air. I had my ***** drilled and sleeved by a machine shop. My drilling was atrocious. It looked like they flopped around when turning (drunk *****). Since the machinist had it all set up he did four ***** for me. If you have a 66 with the rubber Vintage Air control **** I will give this away before I loose it. "D" spring is installed. This is a plug and play. Must show proof of 66 ***** and Vintage Air rubber ****. Here's some photos. I'm also showing off my dash and glove box. PM me if you are interested. No price free!
Thank you,
Al

Hi,
PM sent. I have a '65 restomod that I'm in the process of installing a VA system. I wasn't too thrilled with the look of the VA provided control ****, and would love to take you up on the offer.
P.S., I have replacement ***** on order 'cause I boogered up the drilling on my first attempt also. Holding the ***** stable while drilling seems to be the hardest part of the install so far.

Thanks,
Rick

Yes, that's why I took mine to a machinist. He knew how to drill them true. They kind of flop around if not drilled true.
I have sent you a PM.

Hello Rick, my wife will be sending out the **** today. NO money will be exchanged as it would be breaking CF rules. Enjoy!
Thank you,
Al

Al,
Thamks very much for sending me the ****.
To be honest, the idea of doing a matching **** to replace the one provided with the VA kit never even dawned on me until your posting.
I MIGHT do the same with my install, and add a third '65 ****. If I do, I'll "pay it forward" with the '66 **** like you've done.
Thanks again for the ****, and the idea.
Rick

Sounds good to me! **** was sent delivered to local USPS Fri. about 2:00 EST. They told me you should get delivery on Mon. I doubt it.
Because 2 of my ***** had to be sleeved it was a little more involved than just drilling. I was charged $60. for all 4. So that's what you should be charged on the left coast. You may have to order an extra "D" spring/clip from VA. The machinist let me watch him do it. You will laugh at yourself for trying to drill them yourself. Talk about precision.
Oh, buy me a beer if I ever get to CA again!
Thank you,
Al
