Date stamp is last week, but there are green leaves on the trees. Maybe the date is when the pictures were printed. I don't know why I notice these things.
A Facebook page referenced in the NCRS thread stated that 7 mid year Corvettes, a Shelby Cobra and a 57 Chevy were lost. Worse is the fact that three people were injured.

That's terrible, but the cars are only things, hopefully the three people are OK. They're what's irreplaceable.
The news article said it happened Sunday, December 14th. It was a private collection.

I was initially told that one person, a fire fighter, was treated for smoke inhalation. Ralph, the owner of the building was taken to Crozer-Chester Burn Unit with burns to his face, and his father was treated for burns on his hands. That was last Tuesday, and unfortunately I haven't heard anything more.
7 mid-years, a Cobra and a 57 Chevy lost is correct. Both Ralph and the owner of one of the mid-years, were members of the Del-Val Chapter of the NCRS.

I know Ralph did repair and restoration work, but I don't know if it was as a regular business, or just a quasi one. At least two of the mid-years lost, did not belong to Ralph but some of the other cars may not have either.
My neighbor's house caught on fire two months ago and my vette was ten feet away in a garage. His house was a total loss and several of my windows and my siding were melted but my vette was fine. Very scary situation.

And Glen, as you likely know, one of the ones that did not belong to Ralph, had just completed a complete body-off restoration, and had earned a very high number Top Flight right out of the shop.
It was having some final motor work done at the location of the fire.
Simply heartbreaking, but cars can be replaced.
Thank God the injuries were not far worse!
