If you pay a shop 60-70 bucks a hour it sure will. If you count up your time it doesn't help. Getting a car to top notch level can rack up the dollars real quick.

I'm wondering if this is a real car...

Agreed....First 427 car i restored to NCRS level ended up costing me 100,000 before any of my time, which ended up being somewhere in the realm of 800 hours over 3 years. I ended up taking a 15,000 loss on the car because I needed the money at the time, but of course that loss does not include the opportunity cost of the 800 hours i pissed away restoring the car to NCRS levels. If you are going to go this route, you better have something very special and well documented!!!

The pics of the randomly disassembled car being used as a garbage can don't inspire any confidence in its provenance..

Anyway, I do appreciate your help in giving me a starting point. I'm still undecided on what to do with it, I hate seeing it sit there wasting away. I'm certain I want a coupe, preferably a 63.. To this day I remember sitting in the back storage area of my dad's 63, looking out through the split in the back window! Haha this before child safety seats were regulated....lol
When the right trade comes along, that person will have full access to tear the 67 apart!
Thanks again

That's funny, because I have been discussing a trade with the OP. I guess we will see who has the last laugh. I wouldn't write a check for that car unless I could look at it and pick it up in person directly after the money exchanged hands. Hope you dont get screwed. Judging by the way the OP is typing, I think this whole thing is Caca del Toro.

Just thinking out loud here, but the mixture of past tense with present tense always throws up a red flag for me. The later replies on posts and the replies I received through PMs remind me of the guy on craigslist in Washington state that was scamming people recently.
Another note....revfan, how could you possibly determine that all of the parts are with the car from the crappy photos? Is that hedge trimmer on the rear deck included and who doesn't take the time to remove a small tree leaning on the car when taking snap shots for a value or for sale thread, which is clearly what this was intended to be, scam or not?!?
Also, I see another midyear Vette next to the yellow convertible. Why no mention of it or question of it's value? What about the 427 block that can partially be seen hanging in one if the other photos?

Fuchi Capesta!
The OP say's he was raised with Vettes and Camaros - therefore knows the most important part of this puzzle are the stamp pad numbers to SELL IT.
To get an "honest opinion' all he needs is pictures of disheveled parts and a story.

Why all the doubt? Believe it or not I have better ways to waste my time. Yes that is another midyear next to it, so what? I have no plans on selling that one. I just asked for an honest opinion on value based on what I knew. I know there's crap all over the car which is why I wanted to do something with it instead of it wasting away.
Sorry to waste everyone's time.
