They have been doing it since the 60's..............
Yet I have never figured out if it looks good or bad, let alone why.
Guess if they like it, why not?
Certainly an attention-getter!

I remember reading an article in a magazine that featured a C3 Corvette made into a station wagon, and when asked why, the young owner said he only had space and money for one car, that he loved Corvettes, and that his budding career as a rock band drummer meant he had to lug all his equipment to his weekend gigs.... thus he decided to build a Corvette wagon. That was back when an old Corvette was valued pretty much as just another used car.
My first reaction was that the rear end looked like a balloon, but looking at the second pic, it's obvious that the balloon effect is due to the camera lens.
The link to the website chokes my browser, but I hope this is a complete repo and that a C1 was not sacrificed... Anyway, it's not a bad look IMHO.
Yknow, I generally dont like customs and I like those C5 to early car "conversions" even less, but Ive always thought the 50's Corvette Nomad look was kinda interesting.
This wouldnt be nearly as bad if those horrifying doors werent on there. Thats the killer.
