On my early Sept. but 61 there are plates welded to the chassis and then the radius brackets.
On my May built 61 the brackets are welded directly onto the chassis.
Is this correct or did someone weld the plates on during it's early life?

April 61 has the bracket welded directly to the frame like your May car.
The early welds look like a concientious someone with skill put them on vs the factory.

Who ever did the welds was not a DIY person. It looks like a factory set-up.
