Battery storage expert
I purchased in 2008 a new AC delco battery. Its lead acid and sealed. It has never been charged since purchase. It's still in sealed wrapper. It's been in storage for these six years. No charge ever placed on it. Anybody know if it's still good?

From: Albuquerque Resistance is not futile. It's voltage divided by current.
I dont know, but I would find out by charging and load testing it. Can't hurt.

I don’t pretend to be an expert, but I would say your battery is probably toast. How long the battery would last in storage is debatable, but over time, sulfation will become irreversible and the battery won’t recharge. Be very careful handling it, hydrogen gas is a byproduct of sulfuric acid and there are thousands of injuries each year associated with exploding car batteries. I would just take it to a recycler.
You could put a voltmeter on it to see if it has any charge at all. I doubt it will. You could try charging it, but even if it held a charge, you would likely end up replacing it very shortly anyway.
Also not an expert though.
