I have been researching my cars history for a few months now.It is a 67 roadster. Through the NCRS I was able to find the Chevy dealer the car was shipped to,they are still in business.I called them with my inquiries to no avail. It came out of Casey Chevrolet in New Port News VA. Has anyone had any luck with DMV? I also have the two previous owners titles .Perhaps sending them letters asking for any info. without seeming like a stalker.
You prob won't have any luck with the DMV....I lived in Virginia for decades. Between the new privacy laws and record retention policies any info on your car is prob long gone.
Casey Chevrolet was a huge Chevy dealer in Tidewater all through the '60s but turnover of staff in a Navy town prob means nobody has any longevity there. Many salesmen were part-timers who were full time Navy types that moved every three years.
