Default tech tips for carpet replacement

I have received the new replacement carpet set to install in my '67 convertible. What are the most important tricks to know about regards of how to proceed etc? Is there a good summary thread or instruction article I can reference?
Thanks!
Steve

This is the order/how I did mine...

First, lay it all out to 'warm up' so its easier work with and to familiarize your parts and where they go....

Did you get the sound deadener?

There will be cutting and fitting before you glue them in place.

1.Put in the luggage stop carpet first...

2. Next the Rear wheel well pieces.

3. Then the center between the wheel wells.

4. The Drivers side and Passenger sides fronts.

5. Kick panels.

6. Jack Board.

Thanks; yes, I got the sound deadener, but only for the forward seating areas. The old deadener/pad was glued into place and I'll need to scrape and clean it. Should I glue the new carpet back against the fiberglass in back?
