Default We need to see

The backside and any casting/identity! From the front, they look more like a modern set from the later 80's to more modern.

Those look like the ones I bought in 1969, for my 66 Vette. They fit perfectly.

Your wheels look like the Torque Thrust D spoke wheels, designed specifically to clear Corvette disc brake calipers. The original poster's wheels appear to be the straight spoke design and as Derek stated, a photo pf the back side would help identify them.

Default The D's became available in 1966, but

These in the picture look like they have the clear coat process. Maybe they were restored?? But based on the finish they appear to have, and the style is why I think they are more modern. Also the backspace for the 1960's ones was slightly different than the modern! What is your backspace?

My 1961 Corvette had a set of straight spoke Americans on it when I bought the car in 1969. They are still on it. American is cast into the back side of the rim leaving no doubt they were made by American. I hope this helps.

They don't look like TTOs to me. The ridge on the length of the spokes of a TTO are sharp like a crease. Your spokes look to rounded. TTDs are definitely rounded spokes as well as being curved.

I cannot seem to get the attachment function to work again. I did get a photo showing the back of the wheel. It is not original. The spokes are thinner than originals and the original wheels would have American Racing Equipment in Italics and there would have not been interruptions between the words.

Next part of this is: Who would be a good source for a really nice original set and what would be a reasonable price to pay? I am leaning toward 15 x7 in the front and 15x8.5 in the back.

I have a set (15x7 and 15x8.5) of originals but I'm not sure of a fair price.
