Default Shifter application

I have two shifters that look very much alike. The lower bodies are the same, and the uppers have similar "T" lockout assembly. The two major differences is that the one shifter has a shifting lever that is 11 1/4" from where it attaches to the cross shaft (v. 8 1/2") and the angle of the shifter is quite different where it leaves the lower housing. The 8 1/2" one with the straighter shaft is original 59-62 Corvette; does anyone know what the application is for the 11 1/4" one with the more angular lever shaft? GTO? ??
