Jacking locations 59
The front is a different matter -- you should NOT jack up the car by the third arm (e.g. the center link) to get both front wheels in the air UNLESS you have made a wooden saddle to spread the load; several here have. You can PM JohnZ or Plasticman on here for the saddle dimensions if you want to go that way.
If you can get two jacks under the same side of the car at once...then jack it up front and rear on the same side where the X member meets the frame fore and aft...a little at a time pumping at each jack alternately. This is much preferred and you can still get two tires off at a time and NOT twist the frame. That's never good on the old fiberglass...
Otherwise, for the front tires, I'm afraid you are reduced to jacking up each side. I've done it at the frame rail where the forward frame "X" member meets the side rail and also underneath the lower control arm.
Of course, chock the wheels opposite the jacking point, don't get under the car with only a jack, don't pee into the wind, etc..
