I bought a used driveshaft for my '66 L79 without reading the fineprint. It is in excellent condition, but it has a 2.25" diameter and the old one had a 2" diameter. The length is the same. I have one that diameter and it even has a harmonic balancer on the front yoke. It was a service driveshaft and the balancer was supposed to get rid of some NVH in Turbo Hydramatic applications.
