66 power steering pump
Power steering pumps for your car are really simple to assemble. Make sure you have your service manual showing the assembly of the pump.
The hard part of the dis-assembly is trying not to damage the can (part where you pour your fluid in). I use a rubber mallet to tap lightly on the can for dis-assembly after fastener removal.
The pump is secured in vise with rubber or plastic jaws.
Don't lose any of the small veins in the dis-assembly.
Tools needed:
1. Standard socket set.
2. Rubber or plastic jawed vise.
3. Rubber mallet.
4. Seal kit.
5. Service manual.
6. Clean cloth.
7. Teflon tape for thread sealing in re-assembly.
8. Clean working area.
If you feel that you are not qualified, send the pump to a re-builder.

I would go to your local parts dealer and ask them to get your pump rebuilt. If you take your pump for re-building, usually the pump is exchanged with re-built unit which will not look like your pump. That leak between the fill tube and the can has to be brazed by a welder. You have to take the pump apart.
I deal with Corvette Central, they should get your pump re-built.
