Well I have my new w/s and trying to get it on the car, but I have gaps at the curves and I'm very nervous at this point. I thought maybe the gasket was to thick so I switched to the old one, but I still have the same problems. The middle comes down nice gap wise, but the wrap around just doesn't want to come down. I do have my T-bolts down and there are 8 nuts installed. I have not put the 4 anchors on as of yet because I can see where they are just gonna pull it up more in the curved area. How hard do you crank down on those nuts? I have them snug and to the point where they were starting to get harder to turn. I thought it would be better to stop and ask at this point.
Your gaps are better than mine. I am going to be redoing mine and I hope
somebody else comes up with an answer. I am redoing mine to hopefully
make the hardtop fit better as well as correct the gap. Some of it is just the way it was, however I have seen cars that don't have the problem.

I had the exact same problem after I did my windshield install.
One of the forum members suggested tapping down the trim using a block of wood and hammer.
worked great and didn't damage anything at all.
I have closed the gap some this morning, but I just can't seem to get the gap from the w/s wiper to the anchor bolts down enough. Do you just put sealant in there?

I have the exact same problem and asked these same questions several years ago. No suggestion given solved the oversize gaps!
Hopefully someone can help this go around.
