My wife and I did east Tennessee to Reno, Bonneville and back, Not a Corvette but in my 39 Chevy I built. 6218 miles in 18 days. You will have a blast and a lot of thumbs up along the way. All you need is a credit car and cell phone.
It's a Chevy, simple and reliable, why not? Better to exercise and keep them in shape then keep 'em indoors and letting them deteriorate. Gotta keep the blood flowing through all those electrical contacts and liquid seals!
