Though I've never actually seen one in real life I had always figured in my mind that a 1963 Saddle Tan/Saddle Leather Coupe would be a gorgeous car. It happened ... I saw one ... I was correct ... It's stunning.
I also spotted a '65 Milano Maroon/Maroon Leather Roadster at this same show, that's also a rare and tasty combination.

I used to have a '63 coupe w/ Saddle Tan + Saddle leather interior. What a car! 340 HP 327. Beautiful car! Really loved it.
My goodness I remember them off loading these cars at Humberview Chev Olds in Toronto when I was a kid. They still make my heart skip a beat. Beautiful cars.
I've never seen anything in Saddle Tan but Saddle, (beautiful Ray, I agree!) but now I'm on a quest to see one with a black and a red interior. (JG confirms red, eeek).
I know whenever I see a Daytona Blue with a Black interior that the car has been seriously messed with.
My '64 Shriner convertible was delivered Riverside Red/Silver vinyl, which I wore through to the springs over many happy summers. IMO silver is the best seat color for a hot sunny day because it stays cool, and doesn't show every speck of dirt like white.
But a Saddle Tan SWC has been on my radar for decades, with A/C and front discs for weekend getaway trips! "It will be mine...yes, it will be mine..." (Rave on, Strat lovers)

I have seen several Saddle/Saddle 63 coupes, including a new one back in the day. I was 13. Can still remember the first ad in the local paper showing a photo. of the new 63's. Never lost interest after that day. I am living in the best of times, now retired, and enjoying every min. Hope you all are too. flag: Just was blessed with a new Grand-daughter last night. Lucy, 9.8 lbs. 22". Best of times. Sorry that was a little off topic. Hope that is OK.

If you can find pictures of the 1980 San Mateo National, there was a Beige '62 with Red interior that was stunning.
Here's a picture of yours truly sitting in a beige/red '61 at Greg Wyatt's store. It was truly a beautiful car but sitting in it and then sitting in a mid-year made me give up my life-long dream of a C1 in favor of a C2.

I've seen a number of Saddle Tan/Black coupes for sale over the years but a Saddle Tan/Red coupe is a very rare beast. I've only recorded maybe 2 or possibly 3 over the years in my '63 file and I believe it to be the rarest color combo aside from the one Silver Blue/Red '63 I recorded, trim tag and all.
I've also recorded a small number of Daytona Blue/Black 63's. I'd seen a number of them for sale also and most of the time they were misrepresented by the seller who thought the interior was Black when in fact it was dark Blue. Then I saw a split window for sale on I think eBay that included a good picture of it's trim tag and there it was...Daytona Blue/Black. I posted the find over on the NCRS site at the time and was told that early on it did occur which was news to me.
The original owner of my '63 Saddle Tan/Saddle leather coupe ordered the car new in upstate NY with only one must have, that it had to have leather seats. The dealer and the original owners then 14-15 yr old son had to talk him into getting the 300hp engine to go along with the leather interior. I'm sure glad they got him to spend the few extra bucks.
My very best friend purchased a Daytona Blue SWC with a Leather Saddle Tan interior. Car was a 250HP with the base 3 speed. How rare is that today? This was in 1965 and he talked me into buying a '64 Blue/Blue convertible. My first Corvette.
She was an Art Teacher and yes drove it to school.. along with her other car I built for her..lol... I mainly built and drove Hot Rod Woodies .....But the Vette getting a out again with a quick redo..and make it safer with a dual master update, Cant believe we drove all those years with a single jar.. ( Oh you going to hate me also added polished 5 spokes with redlines for fun.. )
There has been a '64 saddle/saddle coupe for sale in Ohio and a '64 saddle/saddle hardtop convertible for sale in Pa both for a while.
It's certainly not a combination that I would have put high on my list but after seeing it I certainly would be very happy owning one.
