I cut the trunk out of my 59 Vette to put 14x32 slicks on it, along w a Jegs chassis and a narrowed 9" ford. The body WAS in beautiful shape. I still have it and don't know what to do about it. It just sets in storage along with a 540" BB engine. Wish I had never cut it!
It sounds pretty cool to me. Nothing described that would keep it from being streetable...drop in a milder motor .. or not), with some Pro-Street treaded tires, maybe different gears?, and have fun.
....don't guess it's for sale is it?
