ratio math
My limited math skills are failing me today. I have a 60 corvette that I changed over to a tach drive HEI dist. Now I want to use a ratio adapter to run the stock tach. I know that the distributor runs at 1/2 engine speed rpm. I have found an adapter that speeds it up 100%. Is this the one that I need or look for one that speeds it up 50%? I know this isn't rocket but it's sure stumping me. Thanks

Had I worn my helmet as a yute like my parents wanted me to I would have the faculties to assist you. But alas I did not.
I went to my metric conversion tables but only came up with Roman Numerals when I ran the numbers.
May be a silly question but 60 Corvettes used tach drive generators, have you converted to an alternator thus unable to use the tach drive?
