My limited math skills are failing me today. I have a 60 corvette that I changed over to a tach drive HEI dist. Now I want to use a ratio adapter to run the stock tach. I know that the distributor runs at 1/2 engine speed rpm. I have found an adapter that speeds it up 100%. Is this the one that I need or look for one that speeds it up 50%? I know this isn't rocket but it's sure stumping me. Thanks

The original stock tach was driven by the generator, at crankshaft rpm - that's the output you need from the ratio adapter if you're not going to use the original tach drive setup.
