My 63's auto shifter ball came off (threads turned to dust). Here are pics of the ball. I bought a repro but its smaller and feels strange.
My question is this (in the pics) the original shifter ball that came with 63's automatic? Its got the seam in it. If you have an original on your car can u feel under the ball and see if u have a flat spot like this one. I know the repro's have a metal insert but I need a person that know's.
