Default 1961 radiator identification

Guys

I'm trying to identify the radiator which i removed from my '61 - it is not aluminum.

I did not see any obvious stamping on the tanks and they have multiple coats of black paint - could be obscuring a stamping. There is a brass colored tag located in the core near the top.

first line reads " made in USA "
next line reads " 60 073
last line reads "3R SPL "

Thanks

That's a generic copper/brass replacement. Those were very common, especially after GM ran out of replacement stock in 1982. Dewitt's has made what you have of minimal value.

Any idea why they would have a brass tag on the fins that refers to 1960 ? Thanks for the info
