On my stock linkage when I installed the arms onto the levers, I put them on/in from the backside making it easier to install 'clip's' on the pins...
And looking at pictures/diagrams i see the part the arms hook up to levers the 'pins' come in from outside and in towards the trans which is a 'muncie'....
Now, my question is, will/does this make a 'binding' scenario on the trans/arms and might cause issues with shifting... and should i switch from the way I have it now back to the diagram/pictures?

Hope I explained it correctly...
Do it the way the illustrations show in Section M20, Sheets A2 and A3, or you'll have problems.
Any recommendations on the easiest way to get the clips on?
Squeeze the "pretzel clip" first so you can get the protruding straight "tail" started in the hole, then compress it against the lever with a pair of pliers and push it in place with a flat-blade screwdriver.
